{December 29, 2009}   2009/2010

It has has been a long time since I last posted. Life has been interesting, to say the least.

I closed down my website and sell now my remaining supplies through ebay, under the screen name cascrappinggirl.

My goal for 2010 is to keep updating my Blog on a more regular basis, so come and check back often with me :)

You can also find me on Facebook. Join my Calendar Fair fan page. Currently I am sharing no-waste-page-kits with my fans a few times a year.

My favorite colors are blue and green. Always have been. I don’t know why, just that I always have been drawn to these two colors. I love the ocean and I love nature and forests, green trees, blue skies; they make me feel home, content, at peace. With this page kit, you are not only receiving papers and embellishments, with this page kit I share a little bit of myself and I hope that you will enjoy the papers as much as I do.

{August 20, 2008}   August Page Kit

Calendar Fair's August Page Kit
Calendar Fair August Page Kit

For Calendar Fair’s August Page Kit I chose Cherry Arte ‘Girl Power’ papers. They are awesome! You are going to love these double sided papers, they work great with your summer photos. The colors are vibrant and just scream for summer snap shots. Like all my page kits, this one comes with it’s very own exclusive cutting diagram and 6 sketches. You are going to be able to use up most of your papers with just enough left overs to create 2 cards. My page kits are one of the best values you will find. You are going to love them!

{June 22, 2008}   June Page Kit

June’s Page it is bold and one of the most versatile kits Calendar Fair has offered so far. The ‘his & Hers’ papers from Cherry Arte are perfect for just about any occasion. The possibilities are endless, you can go easily from prom photos to dirt bike riding photos with these papers, or infant to adult. Use Calendar Fair’s Cutting diagram and the sketches that are included in each kit and you will end up with just about enough papers for the cards and mini album that come with each kit.

Here is an image of the mini album included in Calendar Fair’s June Kit. It comes completely assembled by me personally. All you have to do is add your photos and embellishments to finish it up.

Here are a few Lo’s using Calendar Fair’s June Page Kit, done by Design Team Member Emma Clark:

{June 7, 2008}   Exciting day today!

I have spend a wonderful day at Zuma beach today, chaperoning my son’s 6th grade field trip. The water was so cold, but the children didn’t feel that at all! A lot of them were almost non stop in the water for the 3 hours we spend there. It felt so good to be at the beach again, I plan to go back next week. I LOVE the beach!

Needless to say I am way to tired to show of Calendar Fair’s June 2008 monthly page kit and the fantastic Lo’s Emma has created using this kit. I promise by Sunday I will have them up and sharing them with you. Tomorrow we are hosting my son’s rock climbing birthday party. I hope my little camera will take some awesome photos, to create a couple of layouts for. So far I haven’t invested in a really good digi camera and indoor photos, especially in large rooms, my little digi camera is giving me a hard time.

Don’t forget to check back on Sunday!

Happy scrapping,

Heike

My Design team loved working with Calendar Fair’s May 2008 Page Kit. The hardest decision was which papers to cut using the cutting diagram supplied with each monthly page kit. Check out some of the Lo’s Emma and Deanna have done.

{May 17, 2008}   Calendar Fair is rocking!

It has been fun getting my business back up and running. Looks like Calendar Fair is heading into the right direction. I am so excited about all the new inventory I got in. Among the idea books I have now available Becky Fleck’s Page Maps, Lisa Bearnson’s 50 Moments, Donna Downey’s A Photo’s First approach to designing layouts and Stacy Julian’s Photo Freedom. Don’t know which is my favorite, they are all fantastic in what they have to offer. If you are looking for some fantastic sketches, Page Maps is an absolute must have! If you are looking for creating meaningful LO’s, you need to get Lisa ’ book. Photo Freedom has some awesome organizing ideas and a brand awesome ideas. Donna Downey’s idea book offers a great inside on how to use sketches in several different ways!

Today I got the new Crop-A-Dile II Big Bite in. I am so excited about this new tool. Finally there are no limits to how far I can reach to add eyelets, snaps and gromlets. The possibilieties with this tool are endless!

The new vinyl appliques from Scrapworks are fantastic! They are easy to use and are very slightly raised. They are a great addition to your Lo’s!

My monthly page kits are a very good seller. If you use the cutting diagram that comes with each page kit, you can easily create 6 Lo’s with almost no left over scraps. The few scraps that are left can be used up by creating the 2 cards I always include and add some fun to the little mini album that is also included! I must say, my kits are well worth the money.

Well, that’s it for now! I’l be getting this blog back up and running, so stop by often :)

{July 19, 2007}   No Waste Page Kits

I got the idea of no waste page kits, actually from CK magazines monthly article ‘Easy Patterns’. I loved this article, but disliked that the patterns were difficult to cut and left me with even more left overs.

After giving it much thought I came up with the idea to create my own page kits and shared them with my yahoo group ‘MegaScraphappy’ beginning of 2007. It was so much fun to see how everybody used my patterns and how different they all came out.

Now all I have to do it creating formal patterns from my scribbles and add them to my blog, which may take me a couple of month to upload them all, but don’t worry, they all will find their way in here.

{July 17, 2007}   Hello world!

I finally bit the bullet and started my very own scrap related blog. Hope you all like my ideas. Make sure to leave a comment and let me know. Btw, all my ideas are copyrights of Calendar Fair. My ideas are meant for your personal use. How ever, if you like to share them with your friends, make sure to add where they are from (www.calendarfair.com). Let’s have fun and get going ;-)
